Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026. Version 2.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Dala Holdings Inc., a Wyoming corporation doing business as LangoSync ("LangoSync," "we," "us"). They cover your use of the LangoSync website, web app, and services. By creating an account, placing an order, or using the services, you agree to these Terms, our Refund Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use LangoSync.

Please read section 16. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration instead of in court, and it waives class actions.

1. Who can use LangoSync

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. A parent or legal guardian may order translations of a minor's documents. If you use LangoSync for a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

2. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your contact details accurate. Tell us right away at support@langosync.com if you believe someone accessed your account.

3. Our services

LangoSync offers two packages.

Self-Certify. Our software, which uses artificial intelligence, prepares a draft translation that reproduces the layout of your document, plus a Certificate of Translation template. You review and edit the translation, pay, and download it. You, or a translator you choose, sign the certificate as the translator. LangoSync does not review, certify, or notarize Self-Certify translations, and LangoSync is not the translator.

Certified and Notarized by LangoSync. Our software prepares a draft, a professional translator working with LangoSync reviews and corrects it, you may review it and request changes, LangoSync's authorized signer certifies it on company letterhead, and a Virginia notary public notarizes the signer's signature.

We may add, change, or stop features at any time. We may refuse any order, including documents that appear altered, fraudulent, illegal, or outside the languages we support.

4. Use of artificial intelligence

All translations start as drafts prepared by an artificial intelligence system. AI can make mistakes, including with names, numbers, dates, and handwriting. For Self-Certify, you are responsible for checking the draft against your original before you sign or submit it. For Certified and Notarized, a human translator reviews the draft before it is certified.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree that:

  • You have the right to upload each document, and it is authentic and unaltered.
  • The information you give us, including the spelling of names, is accurate.
  • You will not use LangoSync for fraud, to deceive any government agency, school, court, or company, or to misrepresent who translated a document.
  • For Self-Certify, you will sign the certificate only if you are competent to translate between the two languages and have reviewed the translation. You are solely responsible for the statements you sign.
  • You will check what the receiving organization requires before you order.
  • LangoSync is for individuals translating their own or their family's documents. Healthcare providers, health plans, and their business associates may not upload protected health information under HIPAA without a separate written agreement with us.

6. Acceptance by other organizations

Each agency, school, court, employer, or company decides for itself whether to accept a translation. LangoSync does not guarantee that any organization will accept a translation, certificate, or notarization, and is not affiliated with or approved by USCIS or any government agency. Some agencies, including USCIS, may question translations certified by the person the document belongs to.

7. Notarization

For Certified and Notarized orders, the notary confirms the identity of LangoSync's signer and notarizes the signer's signature on the certificate. Notarization does not confirm the accuracy of the translation. The notarial certificate follows Virginia law. For Self-Certify, you arrange any notarization yourself.

8. Prices, payment, and taxes

Prices are shown on our website and at checkout before you pay. They currently are:

Item Price
Self-Certify $15 per document, including up to 2 pages, plus $5 for each extra page
Certified and Notarized $25 per page of the original document, plus $10 notarization per order
Rush turnaround (Certified and Notarized only) $10 per order
Standard shipping, USPS Priority Mail $15 per order
Overnight shipping, USPS Priority Mail Express $40 per order

We may change prices at any time; changes do not affect orders already paid. A billable page is one page of the original document, no matter how many words it contains. Blank pages are not charged. The front and back of a card count as two pages.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. For Certified and Notarized, you pay in full before any work begins. For Self-Certify, you pay before downloading. You are responsible for any taxes that apply.

9. Promo codes and free-access codes

Promo codes and free-access codes have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred unless we say so, and follow the limits shown when you redeem them. We may cancel codes that are misused or obtained by mistake.

10. Turnaround and delivery

Turnaround times are estimates that start after payment and depend on notarization batches, which happen on business days. Rush turnaround shortens the estimate but is not a guarantee. Files are available in your account for the period stated in our Privacy Policy, after which they are deleted. Download and save your files.

11. Review and changes (Certified and Notarized)

Before you approve your translation, you may request changes as many times as needed. If you do not approve or request changes within 7 days after it is ready for your review, we may finalize it. After delivery, we correct errors we made at no cost for 30 days. Changes caused by new or different source documents may be charged as a new order.

12. Shipping

Mailed copies are sent by USPS. Delivery times are the carrier's estimates. We provide a tracking number, but we are not responsible for carrier delays. If a package is lost, contact us and we will work with you on a replacement as described in our Refund Policy.

13. Content and ownership

You keep ownership of the documents you upload. You give LangoSync, its translators, and its service providers a limited permission to store, process, translate, review, certify, notarize, and deliver them only to provide the services. We own the LangoSync website, software, design, and brand. You may use your translation and certificate for your own lawful purposes.

14. Disclaimers

LangoSync provides translation services, not legal or immigration advice. Except as stated in these Terms, the services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, LangoSync and its owners, employees, translators, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including denied or delayed applications, missed deadlines, or lost opportunities. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. If a claim is not tied to an order, the limit is $100. Some states do not allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you.

16. Disputes, arbitration, and class action waiver

Please contact us first at support@langosync.com. Most problems can be solved quickly, and you agree to try to resolve a dispute informally for 30 days before starting a formal claim.

If we cannot resolve it, you and LangoSync agree that any dispute about these Terms or the services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. You and LangoSync each waive the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action or class arbitration.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@langosync.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, with your name, account email, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless LangoSync from claims arising from your misuse of the services, documents you did not have the right to upload, false information you provided, or statements you signed in a Self-Certify certificate.

18. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, misuse codes, or attempt fraud. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Sections that by their nature should continue, including payment, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, continue after termination.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal law. Any court case allowed under section 16 will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Sheridan County, Wyoming.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app. Changes apply to orders placed after they take effect.

21. General

If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. These Terms, the Refund Policy, and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and LangoSync about the services.
